- Peripheral nerve sheath tumors
- 8th nerve typically vestibular branch (rarely other CN), nerve roots, peripheral nerves
- Other nerve sheath tumors: neurofibromas, MPNST
- Bilateral = NF2
- Rarely undergo malignant transformation
